NeidFyre: Music etc

Lesson Expectations

()
I expect certain things from my students:
  • I expect them to come to their lesson prepared. They should have all their music books with them, their instrument, their notebook, their manuscript book, and a pencil.
  • I expect my students to practice as often as they can. I understand that life is what life is and that things come up. I know my students will not always have time to practice as much as they would like to, but lack of practice does not excuse a student from canceling their lesson.
  • Lessons are what you make out of them. If the student puts the work into the lesson, then they will get that much more out of the lesson.
  • I expect students to call me if they're sick so we can re-schedule the lesson. (I do not like getting sick, so please don't share germs with me!)
  • I expect students to pay for their lessons each week unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • I expect students to be on time.
  • I expect students to make a commitment to me, and to their lessons.

  • What my students can expect from me:
  • To be prepared for their lessons.
  • To be on time.
  • To be supportive.
  • To be the best teacher I can possibly be.
  • To learn from my students.
  • To make a commitment to each and every student.
