NeidFyre: Calendar

Wow, Minnesota is an amazing place! It was simply beautiful, and the people were fantastically friendly. The views of lake Superior were grand (in all senses of the word) as well.

I had a fun time at the show and met some great people. I got to see new acts that I'd never seen before, like Istanpitta and old friends like Wolgemut.

If you're ever out in that area, I highly recommend this show. I know, given the opportunity, I'd do it again!

This was my third year at VARF, and the first time I'd been able to do most of the season.

The weather, which can be horrifically humid and hot, was really grand. In fact, it held off being hotter-than-hot until my last weekend.

As I was there for most of the season, I got to really know a lot of the acts and cast, as well as the boothies. Everyone there is so terrific. You won't find a friendlier bunch (at least you won't find a friendlier bunch in Spotsylvania! ;) )anywhere else. The audiences were really supportive as well.

A huge thank you to Melinda and Dustin, as well as everyone else who participated this year. I had a grand time; thank you!

Unfortunately things have made it impossible for me attend this event. I'm sad, as I know the benefit is for a good cause. Hopefully I'll be able to make it down there again, though.

The Hudson Valley Mayfaire is one of my favourite events because not only is it a fun faire, but it's also there for a great cause; The Queen's Galley.
I got to share the stage with friends like Hither Dither and Yon, The Brigands, and Raggle Taggle Puppets. Also, my favourites, the Pirate River Gypsies, were there as well. I don't think I stopped smiling the entire weekend.
